quietlight

quietlight may be one of those albums that is always extremely important to the artist but that maybe isn’t the most popular release to everyone else. Perhaps it’s because it’s not quite as accessible to everyone.  It’s more ambient, less beat-driven, and requires a little bit more patience than most records.  It will always be one of my favorites though.

quietlight is actually one of my very favorite recordings that I’ve ever done. It’s simple, meditative, and quiet. It’s me singing with my piano, along with a table of effects to achieve various sounds and landscapes. For the best listening experience, I recommend headphones and a quiet environment. They’re meant to be heard in sequence, back to back, as the songs lift and build off of one another. I hope you enjoy the little melodies and textures in these tunes. mp3: encoded at 256 kbps. 46 minutes, 24 seconds. Approximately 87M in size.
retweet for crazy karma points.
